Windows 2000 Network Setup
  1. Click Start, Settings, then Network and Dial-up Connections




  2. Choose Local Area Connection or whatever denotes your local area network hardware.



  3. Then right click the Local Area Network icon then choose Properties as shown:




  4. This screen will then come up. Don't worry if your list doesn't look exactly like this one. Find and Choose the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click Properties.



    STATIC: Then this window will come up. If you have a Static IP Address from WisperTEL, you will have a Static IP Address Fact Sheet from WisperTEL. The numbers will be put into your PC only if you DO NOT have a wired or wireless DSL router. If you have a wired or wireless DSL router, skip this step and go to the next step. Those numbers will be entered as shown below. (Use the numbers on your sheet NOT what's listed below)



    DYNAMIC: If you have a DSL Router then configure your computer as shown below, save and reboot.
