Windows XP Network Setup
    1. Click on the start button, then control panel. Select Network and Internet connections.

    2. Select Network Connections at the bottom.

    3. Right click on the Local Area Connection associated with your WisperTel connection and select properties.



    4. Scroll down to Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and select properties.



    5. If you have not purchased a STATIC IP Address for an additional $5/mo you will select Obtain and IP Address Automatically. If you have purchased a STATIC IP, then select the radio button Use the following IP address and enter the IP information provided to you on the Static IP Address Fact Sheet. If you have lost this information, please email support@wispertel.com with your account name for a copy.



    6. If you have not purchased a STATIC IP Address for an additional $5/mo you will select Obtain DNS Server Address Automatically. If you have a Static IP, select the radio button and use the following DNS server addresses and enter the DNS information provided to you on the Static IP Address Fact Sheet. If you have lost this information, please email support@wispertel.com with your account name for a copy.



    7. Select OK to save the TCP/IP settings and close to exit the Network configuration screens. Close any other windows open and reboot if the computer indicates to do so.

    8. You should be connected, open a browser and try to go to a web site. If you can't connect, please call tech support at 303.670.8400 x30.
